It was single malt scotch tasting night at the Kloosterman's - the second in a series of tastings designed to choose a favourite - or not! The malts we were fortunate enough to taste last night were all from the Scottish island of Islay. In order of tasting: #1 Dun Bheagan; #2 Bruichladdich; #3 Caol Isla; and #4 McClellands. What would we do without the 'uisge beatha' (Scottish Gaelic for whisky -- and remember REAL whisky has no "e" -- only the imitations!
